He sacrificed his position for the sake of the program. His departure has embarrassingly brought to light how deplorable conditions have been throughout his tenure and amazingly, how he's still managed to squeeze out a national contender. But, really, Junes departure exposed how incompetent both UH's administration and the states' legislature truly are. They all got caught sleeping, mouth agape with their pants down. UNBELIEVABLE! JJ had no choice but to leave. He sacrificed his position for the sake of the program.
