Golf and Monterey Bay Canners

This is David at the Navy-Marine Golf Course driving range this morning.

This is me, not dressed in golf attire.  But, so what?

This is Kekoa, our excellent golfing instructor.

We had lunch at Monterey Bay Canners at Pearlridge Shopping Center.  This is the crisp and tasty Caesar salad.  $3.75.

Pulehu rib eye steak and BBQ shrimps.  $29.95.  The shrimps came later.  David said the steak was perfect and NOT gristly.  The shrimps, however, were burnt.  Kekoa ordered his steak RARE.

Top sirloin and sauteed shrimps and scallops.  $25.95.  This dish was wonderful!

Strawberry creme brulee.  $5.95.  Delicious and delightful!

Happy Mothers Day!  What a great way to spend it.  Thanks to our golf instructor, Kekoa, who was so patient and kind, lending us his clubs and gloves.  He told me that if I decide to press on with this sport, he will give me his now-deceased mother’s bag of clubs!  Wow, I might take him up on his offer.  We’ll see.

Already, David and I plan to golf on week nights and on Sundays at municipal golf courses.  We want to do well at the golf tournament on Kauai next month.  Here we come, folks!
