Yesterday, my husband David emailed me from work:
“This song sums up my feelings for you. ‘You bring meaning to my life… You are my inspiration… So in love when we are together… Always on my mind… In my heart and in my soul… No one needs you more than I need you here beside me…’ (This was heard on Pandora.)”
“Really?” I replied.
“Yes. When I heard the song, I immediately thought of my undying love for you!”
This morning, David went to the store and bought the Chicago 40th Anniversary cd. We listened to song number 6, “Inspiration.”
“So, honey,” I said, “I inspire you to do WHAT?”
“You inspire me to go to HELL every morning!”
Huh? He meant WORK! LOL.
Has a song ever inspired you, too?

I can’t think of a song but that was very dear of David. Let’s hope you can keep inspiring him a few more months until he’s retirement age. How many years have you been married?

We’ve been married almost 30 years. But I know you have been married even longer! Wow!

LOL That’s true love!!!!
There are several songs that have gotten me through some very tough times in my life (I could use one right now). The one that got me through my divorce was by Barbra Streisand — “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from “Funny Girl” and I still pull it out on occasion.

I have several cd’s by Barbra Streisand, but Funny Girl isn’t one of them. I should get it. I love her rendition of “People.”

That is so romantic. I love to listen to Brother Iz sing his version of “Over The Rainbow.” Ever since I heard that several years’ ago I have always enjoyed that song. “Lean on Me” is another one and Woodie Guthrie’s “This Land is Your Land”.

So sweet!
I can’t think of a specific song actually. My brain is pretty much fried right now.
