Rain, Kitty, and Ramen

It’s been raining off and on all morning.  It’s wet and dreary.

My crotons and pink hibiscus are soaked, but provide a splash of color to an otherwise grey day.

Here’s Kitty, an outdoor cat, snoozing…

…Where?  Why in the warm laundry room, that’s where!

I go into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of soup.  Ramen or Japanese noodles cook in a jiffy.  I stir in an egg and some chopped green onions and continue cooking for a minute or so.

Wow, this hits the spot.  Nothing like hot ramen on a cold, rainy day!  What’s YOUR life like, right now?

    Happy Aloha Friday Aunty Gigi!

Ramen – simple, yet delicious. The only item i would add is a heaping serving of kim chee – YUMMY!

Have a great day. You know the saying, “A day without Glenda is like a day without sunshine” Thank you for providing sunshine in my life.

I am sitting in a sunbeam, fresh out of the shower and drying off a bit before I dress. Amoeba and I are headed to a jazz club for dinner and some mood music.

I used to also throw in some frozen cut vegetables (was it called Mandarin cut? Hmmm..). It made for great lunch when I used to be able to eat carbs.

Gigi– Is your laundry area outside too?
Kitty looks content. And yes bloggers, the soup noodles work well in Kansas too, as Gigi snuck some into my mailbox. We’re up to 33 degrees today with the sun trying to shine.

I’m all stress today — way behind on a writing deadline.

Your cold grey day sounds like *every* day on my island — I hope the sun comes back soon for us both!
