Dining at the Top of Waikiki

David treated me to a fine Mother’s Day dinner at the Top of Waikiki last night. This restaurant revolves so slowly, one does not have the sensation of moving.  However, when we look out the windows, we see a different scene from the last time we looked.  It’s exhilarating!  One revolution takes one hour.

Here we are, toasting each other with champagne.  The silver necklace was a gift from Maria.

David and I enjoyed the Surf and Turf, which consisted of New York steak, lobster-crab cakes, mashed potato, and mixed vegetables.

We both loved the Crème Brulee.

All in all, it was a romantic evening and we had a wonderful time!

Just a wonderful dinner, thanks for sharing! We have a revolving restaurant in the CN Tower in Toronto, and I have a friend who actually gets motion sickness from the slow revolving restaurant!

A wonderful meal. I love crab cakes and they don’t cost too many points on my diet either. The Creme Brulee I also love, but it costs many many points. Glad you enjoyed it. Dianne

Good for you. Our son lives in Hawaii. His friends took him out to dinner for his birthday which was on the eighth. I wonder if he knows about this restaurant.
