I babysat my grandkids recently.  Julia is 5 and Rylan is 3.

Julia will start the first grade next week.

Rylan started preschool yesterday.  His teacher has the same name as his other babysitter.  He has adjusted well to being in a school setting.

I am happy to report that David’s claim for unemployment benefits has been approved.  “There is a God,” David said when he heard the news.  He really wants to find a good full-time job as an accountant, one that pays well and people treat him with respect and kindness.  Is that too much to ask?

While I sit and wait for the window cleaners to arrive I will drop you a line!
It is +40°C outside and I’m glad the big boys will come to do the cleaning 😉 We really have a bright summer here right now! Not used to it; normal is +25°C, maybe +28°C.
    Your grandkids are super sweet!
And I hope David will find a job he wants; not too much he asks for…
    happy weekend,

The salad certainly looks bright and colourful -some would love it but unfortunately olives and pimentos are not on my favourites list lol
