Miami, Florida: Day 3

Well, I had the flu today so I lay in bed at the hotel while David went on the city tour and later the boat ride.  These are his photos.  Later in the evening, we had dinner with my blog friend, Ana, and her husband, Rees.

David enjoyed the boat tour.  This is a house on Star Island.  Stars live there.

Anna 006-A

It was wonderful to meet my blog friend, Ana, and her husband, Rees, for dinner at the Hilton.  That’s David on the right and me in the green muumuu.  I feel better now and am able to post this blog.  The wonders of Tylenol.

I hope you feel much better by now, what a shame about the flu but happy to hear you had a great time with Ana and Rees, and that David enjoyed his day while you rested. The photos were fun.

What kind of foods did you and David have in Miami? I love to see more of your food pictures.

Air travel can cause problems with our immune system especially if we have been busy beforehand so we experience flu like symptoms – eat well and get plenty of fresh air so your body is ‘running at peak performance’ to enjoy the next part of your trip Gigi
Looks like a nice clean restaurant – was the food good?

Looking forward to our lunch tommorrow. Lots of great shots. Tampa is the home of the Cuban cigar or was for many decades. Best cigars in the world Dad said. Dianne

Ana paints so beautifully…it’s nice to know who the artist is. Her colors are so vivid. Not what you would expect from an introvert, but ironically I read it is more often that introverts don’t mind being with loud stimuli while extroverts don’t like the competition.

What a bummer that you were sick and missed the Miami tours.
