A quick and simple meal

After we spent the afternoon searching for a 20 lb Butterball turkey at three stores, we finally located and purchased one at Safeway.  Whew!  We are so ready for Thanksgiving. We were famished, but I was too tired to make something fancy.

Well, you know what a lazy cook I am.  This is what I whipped up within ten minutes:

Chow mein, Shrimp pineapple 002-A

CHOW MEIN:  In a very hot wok or large pot, pour 3 tablespoons of oil, then add:  Some frozen mixed vegetables (corn, carrots, peas, and green beans), a package of bean sprouts, pre-cooked chow mein noodles, and some Kikkoman Stir Fry Sauce.  Toss and cook until it is heated through.

Chow mein, Shrimp pineapple 003-A

SHRIMP PINEAPPLE:  Remove the Chow Mein from the wok, and pour in 3 tablespoons of oil.  Then add a can of pineapple chunks (drained), 1 lb of raw large shrimp, and some Kikkoman Sweet Sour Sauce.  Toss and cook until shrimp is pink.

Chow mein, Shrimp pineapple 004-A

Quick and simple meal.  Yummy.
