Seven Palms Bar and Grille

Seven Palms Bar and Grille 002-A

David and I were tired of eating at home, so we decided to drive down the street to have lunch at the Seven Palms Bar and Grille, which is located on the Navy Marine Golf Course in Honolulu.

These are some of the palm trees surrounding the restaurant.  We really liked the ambiance.  It was cool and breezy, too.

Here we are on the deck.

We both ordered the crab cake sandwich.  Mmmm, sooo good!  We washed it down with iced tea.

I like this sort of informal dining now and then.  We will host our family Christmas party at our home, and then we will celebrate my 68th birthday in January.  I wonder which restaurant we will choose for my birthday dinner.  Stay tuned.

I could need some sunshine, too!
It is snowing here and the severe storm just calmed down –
need to go out now, too, as I was always just at home the
passed days due to the awful weather…
    happy weekend,

Ron had been accustomed to lovely dining places in San Diego and I had nice choices of eateries in Tulsa, OK. Our marriage led us into the rural areas of Kansas and Oklahoma and we primarily have mom and pop, down-home cooking cafes. But God bless the Native Americans in our area that are allowed to own and run Casinos. In those establishments gourmet food can be found of every venue. Without Ron I still find myself going into the Casino restaurants with my Kindle to quietly dine on elegant cuisine and watch a movie in luxury surroundings. Plus often I can play $5.00 in the slots on my way out and win back the price of my meal. (or not…)

By the way, you both look great in the picture:)

I am envious of your weather, as we freeze here in the Pacific Northwest. I am used to cold but the wind just won’t quit! Feels like 2 F. 😦

Oh the camera on my computer was accidentally activated by me, I clicked the mouse somehow while in camera mode, so it didn’t do it on its own exactly!

Sometimes it’s good to treat yourself to a meal at a restaurant, and this place sounds very nice and the crabcake sandwich looked delicious. I look forward to seeing where you go for your birthday 🙂
