    I feel like we have birthed a baby. How wonderful to see it all come together and be ready for just the right person. I am hoping for a sweet young lady who will enjoy the lovely space and welcome knowing such gracious landlords who took great pains to create these special living quarters.

    No smoking? Good luck. If I were in Hawaii, I would take it in a minute. Have you thought of posting the info on a bulletin board at nearby colleges? We have students living in our neighborhood. The Georgetown University bus (GUTS) picks them up and takes them to campus.

    It all looks just lovely. A student might be a good way to go–a med student or someone in some program that keeps him or her busy so they just need the room to crash in at night and a fridge quick meal storage.

    After all the time and effort you have put into this Gigi I’ll echo the thoughts of all the others in that I’m hoping it doesn’t take long for you to find your ideal tenant.
    Would there be any problem if the tenant brought in their own chair?

    Would consider adding to ad to reflect “minimum” 6-mo lease; otherwise my first take was that the unit is only available for six months (when, in fact, you are looking a long-term renter, but want the option of making other arrangements after 6 mos. if the person doesn’t work out).
    You can always clarify when people email you, if you don’t want to change the ad, but, again, I have found that the more specific you are, the better. Even being specific, I bet you have people asking for a one or two month rental- looking to beat hotel costs or people here for a long summer. Do let us know about your responses! Good Luck!
