Celebrating my 70th birthday

It was such a beautiful day when David and I drove to the North Shore to celebrate my 70th birthday at Haleiwa Joe’s.

We were fortunate to have a table on the outdoor lanai:

We ordered Fried Calamari:

Edamame (soybeans), coated with spicy Korean kim-chee sauce. We put the pods between our teeth and pulled out the peas:

Our main course was the Coconut Shrimp with Green Papaya Salad and White Rice:

All in all, the food was delicious and addictive.

David used his video camera and will add the footage to our 2016 family video at the end of the year:

What a wonderful way to celebrate my 70th birthday with the love of my life, David.  Thank you, dear.
