Assembling a CD cabinet

Recently, we decided to discard our old CD drawers and buy a CD cabinet. It would be easier to add CDs to the shelves and provide better access to the CDs.  We purchased the cabinet from Amazon.

As usual, David assembled this new furniture:

CD cabinet 001-A

CD cabinet 007-A

CD cabinet 009-A

And this is how the cabinet looks with all of our CDs. It’s on the right side of the photo:

CD cabinet 013-A

The classical CDs are on the top portion of the cabinet, and the non-classical CDs are on the bottom portion. We enjoy listening to one or two CDs on our Bose sound system every day.

It’s nice having a handyman like David in the house.

Wonderful and I like your chairs….

You are lucky to have a handyman in residence. I have sworn off ‘assembly-required’ furniture. I did successfully change out the dryer vent yesterday, though–only four screws.

You are so organized and David is a handyman!

That’s quite a collection. Good for David to build this.

His knee seems to be getting on well, too.

    Wow. So many CDs.

A very nice cabinet and we also have quite a few CDs, even though most are backed up to Pat’s iPod which he plays through our Bose system. We bought this new system as it was compact and living in an apt now we needed more space. The sound is wonderful and we too are very happy with our decision. Your new cabinet looks very nice.
