Valentine’s Day 2016

Because we had to attend an opera on Valentine’s Day, David and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day a day early. We had a fabulous lunch at my favorite restaurant, 53 By the Sea, in Honolulu.  It’s my favorite, because it has a great view of the Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head and it is also air conditioned and elegant.  The food is delicious.

We ordered the Three Course Special Menu, priced at $38.00 per person. Simply delicious!

When we were about to exit the restaurant, we saw a bride being photographed on the grand staircase.  I think there might be a wedding chapel on the premises:

I love 53 By the Sea.  Great food, beautiful view, elegant, and air conditioned.  It’s my favorite restaurant, by far.
