Switching gas grills

Remember this gas grill we bought last September? It’s a 2 burner grill made by KitchenAid (Home Depot $328):

BBQ 001-A

We gave it to Maria and Grant, because it was too small for our large parties.

This month, we purchased a Dyna-Glo 6 burner grill with a side burner (Home Depot $199):

New grill 007-A

New grill 002-A

New grill 003-A

We can grill 6 steaks. The side burner can be used to cook a pot of chili or fry an egg.  This will be ideal to use when we experience a power outage and cannot use our electrical appliances.

This Rust-oleum cover prevents rust (Lowe’s $40):

New grill 010-A

Now, we are prepared for our next big party or power outage.

Nice. And it is always a good thing to be prepared.

What was amazing for me to read was the price difference and the features with each grill. Looks like you and David will be cooking up a lot of meals, even in any power outages.

It looks good to me. It is curious that the larger one is so much less expensive than the smaller one. 🙂

Ours comes in very handy when the party food exceeds the capacity of the indoor stoves and ovens and some cooking must be moved outdoors.

    Great deal! Enjoy!

Wow you are all set for big parties!

last year we got a three burner Kitchen Aide and it was mislabeled by the store to a huge discount but since it was mislabeled they said they had to sell it to us at that price; it’s nice to have a back up cooking source if the electricity goes out that’s for sure or if it’s too hot to cook indoors.

That is an impressive grill! Happy barbecuing!

Super-duper grill and cover. Our grill is smaller, however, we don’t entertain the way you do.
