The weather was nice yesterday, so we decided to barbecue Pul Kogi (Korean Barbecued Beef) on our brand new gas grill.

This is the cooked beef:
1 lb top sirloin, thinly sliced
Combine the following ingredients and then add to the beef:
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon mirin (rice wine)
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Massage all ingredients in a large pot.
Cover the pot and marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Do not marinate over night, because the beef will get dry.
Grill outdoors and put the cooked meat in a clean container.
