David’s travel plans

David 004-A

As you know, David and I were supposed to travel to San Francisco together in May. However, due to poor health, I have decided to remain in Hawaii while he sees the city himself.

He has been at the computer (see the photo above), making arrangements for the airport shuttle to and from the hotel.

The second day of his trip, he will take a guided tour of Muir Woods and the wine country. This will be an all-day tour.

The third day, he will take the boat across San Francisco Bay and tour Alcatraz Island. When he returns to the city, he will have lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf and then experience the cable car ride back to his hotel.

The fourth day, he will board a hop-on hop-off bus, which will take him to Golden Gate Park and Sausalito.

At some point, he wants to take the BART to and from Berkeley.

Then on the fifth day, he will check out of his hotel and fly home.

Sorry, there will be no photos, because he intends to take only video of his trip.

This is the wonderful Sony video camera he purchased last year. It fits in his front pocket:

Sorry you can’t go, but hope he has a good time. Remember to tell him to bring warm clothes. San Francisco is COLD compared to Hawaii!

Safe travels to David and sorry that he won’t have you as his travel companion, Gigi. Taking care of your health is a more important matter now.

I’ve traveled to SF many times. One time I met my son and we hired a car which we drove to Muir Woods. It is truly a National Treasure.
