Neighbor’s laundry

The trouble with living in Hawaii is that the lot sizes are small. Our lot is 6,600 square feet, and our house is 1,380 square feet.  The homes are quite close together.

So, if your neighbors want to save money by drying their laundry on the clothes line instead of in an electric dryer, then you will see their underwear:

Boston ferns block the view somewhat:

But, we prefer to draw our lace drapes and turn on the air conditioner:

That’s funny! and a little bit sad. But, no can help, yes?

Actually, that reminds me – I have laundry in our washing machine that I need to hand now. Today is a good laundry hanging day.

Our lots are only 6000 sq ft but the houses are laid out so you don’t look out on others’ yards. Nor do we hang out clothes to dry. Our air is too dirty for that.

Some problems are not serious ones and there could be far worse things to see.

You are most fortunate to have a home in Hawaii, the most expensive state to even have a home..But that being said, I rather doubt I would enjoy peoples knickers hanging about..Our neighbor thinks he is a junk fellow and has crap spread all around, we have arborvitae to help with that, he cut a lot of bushes down and we now see his back yard and all its crappy glory, so up went new arbivitae so we did not have to see his crap..we go to the beach and enjoy our days left on this planet, we are grateful simple people, our only spends her days and nights in NYC and various places in the world travelling when she gets near seattle we hop an Amtrak and spend out time with our only, aloha and peace to you in paradise!
