Something new

Every now and then, we like to dine at a restaurant and try something new.  That was the case recently when we had lunch at Romano’s Macaroni Grill in Ala Moana Center.

David and I were quickly seated in a booth:

Romano's 003-A

We had a loaf of bread with an olive oil dip and an appetizer (zucchini fritti and a tomato dip).  Both the bread and the zucchini were excellent:

Romano's 006-A

David had Carmela’s Chicken (roasted chicken breast, mushrooms, and pasta with a creamy sauce).  He said this dish needed more chicken:

Romano's 008-A

I had the cheese-stuffed tortellacci, sprinkled with chopped butternut squash and bacon.  It was delicious:

Just another pleasant lunch at Romano’s!  This time, I drove my little blue Hyundai Accent, while David sat beside me in air conditioned comfort.  We are so fortunate to have each other and the ability to enjoy life.

Do you choose your restaurant from a ‘guide’ or word of mouth Gigi. Enjoy your food while you can – I say 😊

    It’s always better with bacon!
Glad you are enjoying life, and each other.

Looks like another great restaurant and a good time together. Your meals look delicious. I haven’t been to our local Romano’s Macaroni Grill for a very long time but remember enjoying the food. You’ve sown a seed, thank you!

Not many people are dining out in our town of Vancouver Washington..I know I work like the dikens in a food place for people who work and never have any money for food at the end of the month whatsoever..You are truly blessed, a home, cars (2) of them and food and the means to dine out a lot in my opinion……
