Trouble with 2 computers

My previous laptop computer.  (2015)

I have been having trouble with my HP desk top computer and my Asus laptop computer.  David took the HP to Best Buy for repair.  We were told that it is a software problem and the system needs to be restored.

While the HP desk top is at Best Buy, I have been using my Asus laptop.  A pop up on the screen instructed me to install updates.  I ignored it, and guess what, the screen froze.  It took us an hour to figure out that we had to install updates.  Now it works, and I can type this post on the Asus laptop.

While all of this was going on, I seriously considered switching to Apple.  However, that would be like learning a foreign language, so I have decided to stick with PC.

You might wonder why I bother with blogging on the computer.  Well, it’s a form of self-expression.  I used to express myself through music, playing the violin, but no longer.  I prefer to blog.

As an Apple person, I can only say how much I love my laptop and iPad. Oh yeah, my smartphone, too. Updates are critical to any computer. Glad you got it fixed. 🙂

Maybe you should get an iPad to try out the technology, very similar to iPhone and imac

Computer issues are such a maddening experiences.

Last week it wasn’t so much the computer as it was an application. Twitter asked that I change passwords. I had never written my twitter password down anywhere and what I thought was the correct one, wasn’t. Took some fiddling around to get that reset.

Yesterday I realized that since twitter syncs with some other apps on my phone, that I need to update the password on the phone app, too. Since it’s a new password, I would have to go look up what I wrote down and I wasn’t in a convenient spot to do that. Maddening.

I would highly recommend Apple products. They are intuitive, totally unlike PCs.

Apple products are more expensive than the others, but I have always been an Apple person – not only because there are less major problems, but also because the support system that they have in place at Apple Stores in our neighborhood is free. Appointments at the Genius Bar is free, and they can fix the tech problems instantly. Group classes are scheduled for specific needs.

Entering into the Apple culture is like walking into a caring bubble of other Apple family members.

You can tell, I love my Apple computers/phone/toys.

Well, like any other instrument, a computer needs an occasional checkup. And we enjoy how you play.
