Having fun our way

David and I have fun by attending the symphony and opera at the Blaisdell:

We also enjoy Broadway musicals at Diamond Head Theatre:

We like the hilarious comedies at Manoa Valley Theatre:

David likes to watch sports on TV.  Currently, it’s the NBA finals and championship:

We attend art receptions:

Finally, we have people over for dinner:

As you can see, we don’t go to the beach anymore.  The last time we snorkeled at Hanauma Bay was in 2012.

We’re having fun our way.

I agree with you. Our life is very enjoyable and full of fun. It is hard to imagine that we could be doing better!

    You have a good life.

Looks good! I love my life, too, which is quite different from yours. To each his/her own, right? 🙂

You are fortunate to have the opportunities for your kind of fun so readily available.

So many things to do in Hawaii … besides the beach. Who knew?!?

I hope David lends his mighty support to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

All the thin gs you posted about here sound like the sort of activities we also enjoy, even when we are traveling out of the area. I am not a beach person so that would not be where I would be spending time, except to walk along the surf.

I hardly go to the beach anymore, too. We used to go several times a week to have dinner and let the kids play in the sand and water. Nowadays, the kids are all grown up and I love to putter around in the garden and stay inside with air conditioned comfort.

Life is good, though very different.
