Lunch with friends at Chili’s

On Thursday, David and I had lunch with our friends, Diane and Larry, at Chili’s in Pearlridge.  It’s a Mexican restaurant that has been in this spot for decades.  Apparently, lots of people like the food and ambience there:

We started with Chips and Salsa:

I ordered the Quesadilla Explosion Salad:

David ordered the Steak Fajita:

Diane ordered the Chicken Enchiladas:

Larry ordered the Club Sandwich:

It’s always nice to have lunch with old friends.  I have known Diane since 1977, when we both played the violin in the University of Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.  I attended her wedding, and over the years, we have kept in touch.  We even attended her son’s wedding reception in 2015.

All is well.  Great meal with great friends.

Nothing more fun or satisfying than lunch with friends. Chili’s sure gives big servings. I’d have leftovers the next day. 🙂 Love me some leftovers.

It’s wonderful to have old friends living near enough to be sble to get together. Any of mine still living are scattered about many states away.

Agreed that nothing is better than seeing good friends and enjoying time together.
