The Wii

We used to play with the Wii with our friends and relatives. I bought it in 2007, when sales were at their peak. It was so difficult to buy one locally that I had to ask my friend, Garrett, to send me one from California, where he lived. Thanks, Garrett. We had fun boxing, golfing, bowling, shooting, etc.

This is the Wii with one remote (we bought 4 remotes):

My younger daughter, Lisa, and my nephew, Charles, boxed. I believe Lisa won. (December 2007):

David and a friend boxed. (January 2008):

Carol bowled. (January 2011):

Elsha bowled. (January 2011):

Hank bowled. (January 2011):

Maria and Grant, with 1 year old Julia, shot at pigeons. (December 2008):

David golfed. (July 2009):

Tiger Woods Wii golf game. (July 2009):

We still have the Wii, sitting below our TV, but no one plays with it anymore.

Those were great times. We may have to revive them now that you are house bound due to your cough.

I played with my brother’s Wii once a long time ago. It was interesting to bowl like that! I think nobody plays with it any more. It was fun, though.

I think my grandkids still have one of those somewhere but I have to admit I never tried playing with it.

The wii is super cool. I bought one for under £10 (I did a post about it if you want to check it out on my blog) and it’s awesome.
