Foldable Semi-Recumbent Bike

David ordered an Exerpeutic foldable semi-recumbent bike from Amazon and is absolutely thrilled with it.

It took him more than two hours to put it together:

He folded the bike and dragged it to the guest room:

He enjoys bicycling in the guest room with the air conditioner and TV on:

He will get a lot of benefit from it. Maybe, I’ll try the bike myself.

    …is two hours easy assembly?

  2. Andrew Says:

You should try it. Hawaii is always warm and so air con is always needed?

  3. AC Says:

Although I have tried in the past, I have always found stationary machines to not keep my interest for long.

Looks good. I have a cross-trainer which I am using regularly just now as I can’t go out. Being outside is better, but….Have a great weekend, Valerie

  5. DJan Says:

Looks good. I wish I had one, but I just go out for walks, since that is still allowed.

  6. Nancy Chan Says:

That is wonderful. Both of you can take turns to get some exercise. I too wish I have one to cycle while watching TV.

  7. Olga Says:

Good idea to keep getting exercise. Movement and balance are so important to a good quality of life in my opinion.

Nice that you have one to share. I use my stationary one to watch TV. That way I don’t feel guilty.

For the money I paid, the bike is a lifesaver. It is so smooth and a pleasure to ride. At least I can get some exercise. We do not know how long this quarantine will last. I am prepared for the long haul.

Every so often we see recumbant bikes on the road – which always scares the life out of me.
Using it home sounds a MUCH better option.
I hope you both get the benefit from it.

my husband has one that sits under his desk for his legs and he puts it on his desk for his arms. AGM makes it. As long as it keeps them moving!

My semi-recumbent bike is not portable like this one. It is heavy but it sits permanently in the garage where, this time of year, it is cold and that’s the way I like it when I exercise. I hook my Kindle to the handle bars and read. It’s great. I just finished eight miles this afternoon. It’s easy on my back. Oh, and did I mention, it was free! A friend of a friend didn’t want it anymore and gave it to me.

  15. Kay G. Says:

“On your bike”! That is an expression I remember from England, so go for it, Gigi!

  16. Rain Frances Says:

Oh look at that Gigi! What a great idea!

  17. Joared Says:

That’s a good idea. I have a recumbent bike I may get back to using. Do take good care of yourselves over there and stay safe.
