That is the advantage of Hawaii. The great beauty lasts all year long. You are so lucky that you live in such a wonderful place!

  3. AC Says:

You sure don’t suffer from a lack of colour.

…thanks for sharing all of these memories of Hawaii this morning.

    Gorgeous post!

Loved seeing the hibiscus. I sure miss them from my days in Florida. The Lantana is pretty but scary if you own horses. It is quite fatal to horses and not very good for dogs or cats either either.

  7. Elephant's Child Says:

    And glorious they are.
Lantana is classified as a noxious weed in several states over here – which doesn’t alter its beauty at all.
Thank you for the splash of colour.

Lovely flowers. I didn’t know that about Lantana.

I’m impressed that you know the names of all your flowers. I know about half of what we’ve got … which aren’t even that many b/c my wife and I both have brown thumbs. I love the Impatiens, though, b/c they’ll actually grow, even in the shade.

How beautiful! Our daughter tells us the first thing she notices in Hawaii when she steps off the plane is the wonderful aroma of flowers in the air.
